Online riding lessons & video analysis: digital horse training according to HORSE bodyforming

Root cause analysis and horse training - no matter where you live

Your horse doesn’t walk in time / has some issues and you don’t know how to start? Are you stuck in your riding or looking for a way out of the permanent rehab loop? Instead of treating symptoms, we analyze the basics of biotensegrity and can then resolve the causes.

If you live too far away to visit us in Denmark, that’s no problem! Our well-founded eye for biotensegrity and healthy movement also works excellently via the camera.

Understanding and using HORSE bodyforming online

Whether you use the term biotensegrity for the very first time or the fascia training from social media: When we analyze your horse via the camera, we use the knowledge from the HORSE bodyforming.

This concept was developed by Franz Grünbeck and is the proven original when it comes to releasing fascial tension and building healthy supporting muscles.

Our entire team was trained directly by the founder and regularly attends training courses with Franz himself. That’s why we can also pass on our in-depth specialist knowledge online without filtering it. We explain to you from a distance how you can help your horse to move healthily and find a deep mental balance.

Reading tip for at home: Would you like to read up on the HORSE bodyforming principle at home? Then we recommend the book by Franz Grünbeck: “Being allowed to learn instead of having to function”

How do digital riding lessons work?

We offer you two effective ways of working together at a distance:

  1. Video analysis: You send me videos and photos of your horse (according to these instructions). I will analyze them and explain to you exactly where the problem lies and give you the first training tips. Also available as a follow up!
  2. Live lessons: We meet via Pivo/Videowhats app call at your grooming area/riding arena/riding hall. All you need are good headphones and a tripod. I will teach you live as if I were standing next to you. If you have a second person on site, digital loading training is also possible. You will be given clear homework, which we will review in the next session.

Perfect forregular checks, quick help with problems or when travel is not possible.

Here’s How Support Works

Communication is really easy—we’ll just use WhatsApp. Just send me your questions whenever they come to mind.

To ensure that I can respond to you with my full attention and detailed knowledge, I have set response times: Your questions will always be answered on Monday and Thursday mornings between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (via text or voice message).

What You Should Know

To ensure that support remains efficient and effective for both of us, the following guidelines apply for each processing period (i.e., for Mondays and Thursdays):

The following is permitted per time slot:

  • Text messages: There’s no character limit, so feel free to write me at length.
  • Voice messages: Up to 2 minutes in length.
  • Videos: A maximum of 3 short videos (each no longer than 20 seconds).
  • Images: Up to 5 photos.
  • Number of horses: The subscription is valid for up to 2 horses.

Unfortunately, that’s not possible:

  • Voice messages that are longer than 2 minutes.
  • Please do not submit videos that are too long or too many pictures (we need to be able to review the material within the allotted time).
  • Specific questions about more than 2 horses (for this, you’ll need to sign up for a second subscription).

From the field: A success story

Thea – a show jumper that was actually already retired

New ways of moving and targeted training

Under our guidance, Lena began to get Thea out of her pain and, above all, out of her compensatory movement patterns. The daily program included targeted fascia training and work with the HORSE bodyformer. Through this combination, Lena was able to show the body new, healthy ways of moving and gradually rebuild its load-bearing capacity.

Freedom from pain and a new training approach

Thea regained her zest for life and is now moving physiologically again. The lameness is history and the mare is now being ridden again – pain-free! However, the decisive factor was a radical rethink: away from the classic English riding style, which had brought the horse into this situation in the first place, and towards physiological work from the ground and riding according to HORSE bodyforming. The team, who used to be at home in medium (M) level show jumping, had to relearn everything (“I feel like I’m sitting on a horse for the first time”). Today, the focus is on learning together with the horse through their senses, finding their own balance and helping Thea to constantly improve her range of movement under the saddle. The most important thing: today, everything happens without pressure or coercion and with a lot of fun for both of them.

Frequently asked questions about riding lessons (FAQ)

What requirements must my horse fulfill for online training?

You can take part in lessons with any horse! To get the most out of your lessons, you can book an online check beforehand.

Then we work on the ground. Fascia release and correct movement by hand are often more effective than riding for changing movement patterns. You gain just as much knowledge in the process.

The technical basics are enough to get you started: a smartphone, Bluetooth headphones and a tripod (or a helping hand). A Pivo (tracking camera) is great for riding lessons, but not a must. For practice on the horse you need:

  • For Groundwork: A whip with a length of 1.60 m (pony) – 1.80 m (large horse) with a short stroke, e.g. a Driving whip or you can shorten the rope of a whip with a long stroke on your own.
  • For Fascia training: If you want to get into fascia therapy, order this fascia wheel in advance. I definitely recommend the fascia wheel for therapists because it is much easier to hold and has a spoon on the back for additional work.
  • Not a must at the beginning, but an urgent recommendation: the Mobility Bridle: The only bridle in the world that motivates the horse via the lower jaw. A real game changer and an essential in my tack room. You can order the Mobility Bridle here.
